ASD WILL MAKE THE RACE DECISION AT 8:00AM ON SATURDAY AUGUST 31
All, this year we will be dividing the team up between underclassmen, who will race the Bartlett Invite Saturday, 8/31 and have the following weekend off, and upperclassmen, who will not race this weekend but will race the Palmer Invite next Saturday, 9/7.
The underclassmen need to get more experience on the Bartlett course, which will be the site of the Regional Championships at the end of the season. The upperclassmen deserve a fun new course to race on this season and already know the Bartlett course inside and out. Each group will take the corresponding weekend as their non-race weekend in the build up to the Regional and State championships. It's important for athletes not to over-race during the course of a season as over-racing can lead to injury, burnout, and/or faltering performances towards the end of the season when we want to be at our best. Regards, Coach Kiskaddon A huge thank you to Chugiak High School for making this happen on such short notice. The meet will be held on the Beach Lake Trails at Chugiak High School.

Specifically, they are looking for about 6 people to help set up and take down the kids 2K race, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on August 17.
