MOVIE NIGHT: August 18th

Dear Parents/Athletes,

On Thursday, August 18th XC practice will be at 3pm.  In celebration of Anchorage Run Fest the Service XC team has the opportunity to see Trails In Motion, a festival of short films on trail running, held at the Bear Tooth Theatrepub at 5:30pm that day. Right after practice we will shuttle over to the Bear Tooth to get in line and order food.  (Maybe pack a snack to have immediately after practice.) The film fest runs 120 minutes, so we should be done around 7:30pm. We hope all athletes can make it. Check out the trailer:  http://www.trailsinmotion.com/

Tickets have been provided as a gift to the team and coaches. Please bring or send cash for snacks or dinner during the movie.  A section in the balcony will be reserved for the team.  If additional tickets are needed for family and friends, they can be purchased at the Bear Tooth box office or online at http://beartooththeatre.net/movies/ 
The show is expected to sell out, so act fast! 

While some students may have their own transportation, there will be a carpool for those who need rides.  Please let us know if your student needs a ride or if you are able to help with the shuttle so we can make sure to have enough seats for everyone.  Also, we realize this is not ideal timing during work hours to get kids to practice. We are happy to assist with that as well, just contact us and we can make arrangements.
