The team busses down to Skyview Middle/High School, spends the night in the school, and races the Tsalteshi Invite Saturday morning. -volunteers to help with dinner around 8pm on Friday evening (we usually order pizza unless someone wants to grill for about 50 people) -volunteers to help and supply breakfast (muffins and bananas, breakfast bars, we're flexible!) The team is off to a solid start, and enjoyed a short run, followed by field games, for the first practice yesterday! Thanks to all parents who attended the parent meeting! Athletes please do the same on the "Athletes" tab. Practices will remain at 5:30pm and will end around 6:30pm until school starts. Starting on August 18, the first day of school, practices will be 2:30-4:00pm. Keep an eye out for information on the Near Point Run and Kincaid Mud Day.. We do have a few meets before the start of school, so take a look at the ASD schedule. Come ready to run! Make sure you have completed all of your forms and have been cleared to practice! Meet outside the Little Gym (for those new to Service, that is the free standing building behind the East side of Service - near the hockey rink -marked with a blue star on map) Registration forms and fees are due by July 15th for the 2022 season. Follow the sign-up information at the link below and then head to Service before attending practice on July 27th to pick up your "Golden Ticket" from Chelsea Galloway to start training with the team! Work on your sweatshirt designs this summer so we can get our order in early!!

The Cross Country Awards Ceremony will take place Tuesday 10/19 at the Service Little Theater. Please arrive at 5:20 at the Grant Frazier doors on the east side of the cafeteria. Masks are required to enter the building. If you haven't returned your uniform, bring it with you to the awards ceremony. Looking forward to seeing you there! D1 Boys race at 12:45
D1 Girls race at 2:15 Come on over to Bartlett to cheer for your Service Girls and Boys Teams! Even if you're not racing, team members can ride the bus, which will leave Service at 10:55am. Championships cost $10/adult and $5/student Go Cougars!!! Regional Championships are at Bartlett on Saturday! Go Cougars!
All athletes are encouraged to ride the buses, which leave the Service Little Gym at 8:55AM and return to Service at 3:40PM. The meet schedule can be found here: https://www.athletic.net/CrossCountry/meet/194996/info Dress in layers and bring warm fluid, water, and a snack or meal. Varsity, racing last, should bring camp chairs. Let’s show team spirit and support for all 6 races! If you have to drive yourself, please arrive in time for the first race at 11AM to cheer for your teammates. If you are in the first race, arrive no later than 9:30AM and if you are in the second race, arrive no later than 10AM. Take Boniface, access directly from Muldoon won’t be possible.
